Mercer - Attorney at Law
Briteney Mercer joined the Seattle Washington DUI Attorneys shortly after graduating from
law school at the University of Washington in 2002,
and has built an exceptional reputation and practice
focusing entirely on criminal defense. In 2005, she
was selected by her peers as one of the best young
lawyers in Washington and was named a “Rising Star”
by Washington Law and Politics Magazine. She prides
herself on being a dedicated, aggressive and
compassionate advocate for her clients, peers,
prosecutors and the courts.
Brit seems to have been born to do
this work. She has been focused on a career in
criminal defense since being named “Outstanding
Attorney” at the national high school mock trial
competition. She worked with criminal defense
lawyers through college and law school. While
attending the University of Washington, she was
selected to attend a six-month internship as an
investigator with the Federal Public Defender in
Washington, DC. During law school she worked in
Seattle for the Northwest Defender Association and
worked for the Child Advocacy clinic, representing
children in dependency actions.
While a student at the University
of Washington, Ms. Mercer earned numerous academic
honors. She was selected Phi Beta Kappa,
